What business are we in?
We are in the business of serving fresh thoughts, generally with a shelf life of years, not months, weeks or days. If our thoughts rot, we don’t shy away from binning them. This said: If you believe that what we write is wrong and you can substantiate it, we will be more than happy to print your response and correct our original assumption.
What are our thoughts on?
We write about general topics, like a general interest magazine would, but unlike a magazine, we want to tickle your brain/trigger an “aha” experience, either by providing the reader with a new perspective on an established storyline or by daring to have a look at the future and thus spinning a story further. Often, the focus is not so much on the end of the story, but on laying out the thoughts that lead us there.
What’s with the biology analogy?
In many ways, the way we behave as humans is much closer to our animal origins than we would like. The analogy is a playful reminder of where we come from and what still shapes a lot of who we are and how we behave.
